It has been said often that success is a byproduct of doing the right things every day. The Companies of ASI Waste focus often on creating processes that enable our clients to achieve and exceed their recycling goals. We focus on identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and inefficiency in waste streams. We preach constantly that a proper waste management plan is one that prioritizes avoiding landfill. We have been fortunate to partner with clients who share our vision and see the value in implementing these strategies throughout their facilities.
Such has been the case with two of our clients who were recently recognized at the Maryland Recycling Network 2017 Conference. We congratulate the Baltimore VA Medical Center for earning the Outstanding Small Government Program Award and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for the winning the 2017 Extraordinary Achievement Award from the Maryland Recycling Network. It is not the first time that the Baltimore VA Medical Center and JHU School of Medicine have garnered accolades for their commitment to recycling over the past several years.

The achievements in optimizing the waste streams at these facilities are not merely a result of recommendations made by members of the ASI team. Their success has come due to the efforts of not only those in leadership positions, but also from all levels of staff throughout each facility willing to adopt new behaviors which promote Reduction, Recycling and Reuse. All of us here at ASI Waste would like to congratulate and thank all of the members of both organizations as well as our own hard working staff for the dedication and work that went into earning these wonderful awards.
